FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What’s the turnaround time?
Proofs are typically delivered within 1–5 days after your shoot.
Final edited images are delivered within 7–10 business days after you’ve selected your edits — unless rush editing is purchased.
Additional edits (beyond your package) are completed after your main photo delivery.
Creative shoots — especially free or collaborative sessions — don’t follow a strict timeline but are usually returned within 10–20 business days.



Can I reschedule?
Absolutely. Life happens.
Rescheduling is free if I have availability.
If I need to adjust my schedule to fit you in, there’s a $25 rescheduling fee.
Note: You must request any reschedule at least 48 hours before your session. Requests made within 48 hours will be subject to additional fees.



What does “edited” mean?
All edited photos include:
• Color correction
• Blemish removal
• Stray hair cleanup
• Sky replacement (if needed)
Note: Body modifications like slimming or reshaping are not included unless you purchase the Creative Edit add-on.
Wear outfits that fit well — you’ll thank yourself later.


Do you travel?
Yes, I do. Whether it's a short drive or a flight away, I’m open to it.

How many people can I bring to my shoot?
For outdoor sessions, I recommend 2–4 people max so we stay focused and get the most from your time. Want to bring more? Go for it — just know it may take longer to manage.
For studio sessions, please limit guests due to space.



What if it rains?
If bad weather rolls in, we’ll reschedule at no extra charge. I keep an eye on the forecast and will reach out 24–48 hours before your session to make the best call.


Can I choose which photos are edited?
Yes! You’ll get a private proofing gallery where you can handpick your favorites for editing.

How long do I have to choose my final images?
You’ll have 7 days to make your selections from your proofing gallery. If more time is needed, just reach out — I get it. If I don’t hear back within 10 days, your gallery may be archived or closed.


Can I get the RAW (unedited) images?
RAW images are not included and not available for release.
Each image is carefully edited to reflect my style and standards. You're not just paying for the photo — you’re investing in the full experience and finished product.


What’s a Creative Edit, and how much is it?
Creative edits are for clients who want a more stylized or artistic finish — something beyond the standard retouching process.
They include things like:
• Changing the background or setting
• Adding or removing elements from the image
• Recoloring outfits, skies, or key details
• Giving your portrait a cinematic or editorial feel
If you have a specific idea or vision, I’m open to it — but you must bring it up during your consultation before the shoot. Creative edits are planned in advance and not something that can be added last-minute.

The fee must be paid upfront before any editing begins. Creative edits are completed after your main photo package is delivered.
Creative edits are typically delivered within 10–20 business days from the time you select your images.
NOTE: Creative edits cannot be added after your session is complete. You must request and discuss them with me during your consultation prior to the shoot.


Do you offer rush editing?
Yes — rush editing is available for an additional $100 fee. This speeds up your turnaround to 2–3 business days after you select your final images.
Rush edits apply to up to 3 images. Additional images can be rushed for $15 each.
Please let me know at the time of booking if you need your photos expedited.


How long will my online gallery stay live?
Your private gallery will remain active for 30 days. Please download all images before that time. There is a $25 reactivation fee if you need access after the gallery expires.
Final edited images are stored for 30 days from delivery. After that, files may be permanently removed from my archive.



Can I bring a makeup artist, stylist, or props?
Yes — you're welcome to bring a makeup artist or stylist to your shoot. Please note that I do not provide props, accessories, or wardrobe, and I’m not responsible for any setup delays caused by third-party services.


Do I need to book a consultation?
Yes. Every session includes a brief consultation before your shoot to go over your vision, outfit choices, location, and any add-ons (like Creative Edits). This step is required to make sure we’re fully aligned and your session runs smoothly.


What if I’m not happy with my photos?
I take pride in delivering high-quality, soulful portraits that reflect your vision. During your consultation, we’ll make sure everything is aligned.
Once images are edited and delivered, no re-edits or refunds will be issued unless an error was made on my part. Additional edits are available for a fee.


Do you shoot events or weddings?
Yes — I offer event photography and limited wedding coverage based on availability. These bookings require a custom quote and consultation. Reach out directly to inquire.


Will you post my photos online? I love showcasing the work we create together, but I always respect your privacy. If you'd prefer I don’t share your images on social media or my website, just let me know in writing during your consultation. A $50 privacy fee applies if you choose not to have your images posted.



What do I need to bring to my session?
Come on time, well-rested, and ready. Bring any props, outfit changes, or accessories you plan to use. If you’re bringing others, make sure they’re also aware of the shoot vibe and prepared. The more prepared you are, the better your photos will turn out.


ADDITIONAL BOOKING POLICIES
Payments
50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your session. This deposit is non-refundable.
The remaining balance must be paid on or before the day of your shoot.

Tardiness
Your session will be cancelled if you arrive more than 20 minutes late.
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, a $30 surcharge will be added to your session.
Session end times will not be extended to accommodate late arrivals.



Cancellations
If you need to cancel your session, all deposits will be treated as a cancellation fee.
To receive a credit toward a future session or a half refund, you must cancel at least 72 hours in advance.
If you cancel within 24 hours of your session, there will be no refund or credit.
